Welcome to the White Mountain Apache Tribe's Public Sex Offender Registry Website.

On June 6, 2007, the tribal council asserted sovereign Jurisdiction of the White Mountain Apache Tribe in Implementing and carrying out functions of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006 (P.L. 109-248) through Resolution No. 06-2007-223.

By and through Ordinance No. 245 enacted December 13, 2010, the White Mountain Apache Criminal Code was amended and Chapter Five, Sex Offender Registration was adopted. By this Chapter, the White Mountain Apache Police Department through the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) Program is responsible for community notifications of sex offenders living, working and/or attending school within the boundaries of the Fort Apache Indian Reservation.

Community Notifications through email could be accessible through this site and the zip codes that are used to obtain sex offender information are Whiteriver (85941), Fort Apache (85926), Cibecue (85911), McNary (85930), Hon-Dah (85929), Carrizo (85901). All zip codes could be added so that an expansion of notifications of all zip codes would be directed to your email.

Tier 1 offenders must register every year for fifteen years.
Tier 2 offenders must register every 180 days for twenty five years.
